Constructed to unify the Computer and Information Science Departments under one roof, the new four-story, 100,000 square foot facility created space for faculty offices, a lecture hall, and state-of-the-art teaching and research labs for a variety of computer information disciplines. Funded in part by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the $60 million structure features several communal spaces that encourage transparency and dynamic collaboration, all enclosed by a glass façade with custom exterior perforated stainless steel panels.
